[Role Description]
The AI Scientist will develop AI solutions tailored to pharmaceutical and biotech applications. This role involves identifying and defining areas within drug discovery tasks that can be addressed and optimized through AI, leveraging a deep understanding of the drug discovery process to pinpoint and solve key challenges. The AI Scientist will stay informed about the latest AI trends to implement optimal solutions for complex challenges. Responsibilities include reproducing existing technologies if necessary and expanding current solutions to fit new applications. The AI Scientist will apply appropriate machine learning techniques for small datasets and/or deep learning methods for large-scale data, ensuring effective and scalable solutions tailored to each problem.
[Qualification]
- Education : Master’s degree or higher in AI-related fields
- Experience : At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Skills : Proficiency in utilizing, modifying, and applying deep learning models, and developing necessary layers as required
- AI research : Strong ability to understand and reproduce research papers (publication of relevant papers is a plus)
- Domain knowledge : Ability to quickly learn and understand the domain and connect it with AI solutions
- English Proficiency : Professional-level English communication skills is a plus
- Track Record : Experience in applying AI within drug discovery is advantageous
- Other skills : Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with a focus on innovation and adaptability
