[Role Description]

The AI Scientist will serve as the innovation engine of our team, developing AI solutions tailored to our business operations platform. This role involves identifying and defining key business challenges that can be optimized through AI. Leveraging a deep understanding of data, the AI Scientist will research, design, and prototype cutting-edge AI models to solve complex problems such as demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and risk simulation. Responsibilities include staying up to date with the latest AI trends, reproducing existing technologies when necessary, and applying appropriate machine learning techniques to datasets of varying scales.

[Qualifications]

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in AI-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics).

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in data science or research role, applying AI/ML to solve real-world business problems.

• Skills:
  • Deep expertise in utilizing, modifying, and applying machine learning and deep learning models.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate ambiguous business questions into quantitative, data-driven solutions.

• AI Research: Strong ability to understand, reproduce, and implement findings from academic research papers.

• Domain knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and understand complex multi-domain environments and connect them with AI solutions. Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics is highly preferred.

• Other skills: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with a focus on innovation and adaptability.

• English Proficiency: Professional-level English communication skills are a plus.

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • A track record of publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences or patents is highly advantageous.
  • Experience applying AI within the supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing domains. Experience in biopharma industry is a plus.
